What are SARMs used for?

SARMs means selective androgen receptor modulators. They are substances that can bind to androgen receptors and then do their job selectively, for example, stimulate muscle building but leave the prostate, nipples and hair alone. They are not hormones, like anabolic steroids, but have a strong anabolic effect, sometimes very strong, while the androgenic (side) effect is small. In the history of the development of androgenic anabolic steroids, we have always tried to separate the “androgenic” and “anabolic” effects of each other in order to make them controllable because androgenic (male) side effects are not very desirable. By the way, ‘anabolic’ and ‘androgens’ are not so much mutually exclusive contradictions or qualities, but actually terms that belong to different categories. For testosterone, for example, strong anabolic effects are part of the androgenic mode of action. With an anabolic steroid like Deca-Durabolin, on the other hand, androgenic activity is again part of the anabolic effect. With high doses of Deca-Durabolin, the androgenic influence will increase considerably. Totally divorcing the various jobs has not gotten so far. This is where the “inviting prospect” of SARM begins.

SARMs: androgens without side effects?

Now that we know what are SARMs let’s see about side effects. A remedy where your muscle mass increases tremendously without prostate problems, pimples, increased volume, mourning nipples, abnormal liver values, increased blood pressure, unfavorable levels of triglycerides and other side effects that make people irritated. It is the wet dream of all “right” users, which seems to arise with the development of selective androgen receptor modulators. The research group of the American scientist and pharmacologist James T. Dalton has “invented” these substances and has been working on them continuously since 1998. It is a group of substances that are not hormones, but can bind to specific androgenic receptors of the tissue, such as tissue muscular. A SARM that is more potent than DHT and purely anabolic in muscles would be the final anabolic. With the development of an SARM, the long-sought separation of the androgenic and anabolic effect would be a fact. Because they are not steroids, aromatics do not aromatised and they are not converted into DHT. For example, a direct anabolic course could be avoided without having to constantly worry about a list of side effects.
However, what dreamed about SARM is still in the experimental phase. Despite a few years ago, it was estimated that the first batch of ‘neo-androgens’ would appear on the market in 2009/2010, has remained remarkably quiet ever since. Possibly, development is less easy than expected. Before a drug reaches the market, much water must be transported to the sea.
